Adderley Primary School Website
Following some high profile media publicity as part of the ‘Trojan Horse’ schools scandal, expressive design were invited to work with the school by the Management team to produce the Adderley Primary School website.
The brief was to improve schools external communications, web presence, identity, parent perception and also an audit of all literature.
The starting point was the website – with a new brand colour, expressive design worked with a video production company, photographer and sign company to achieve a school that is now a centre of excellence, it is the preferred venue for schools summits locally with heads from around the country looking at their approach to teaching and learning.
The site utilises a number of elements – incorporating a content management so members of staff can update important information for parents, also a unique, secure area for Ofsted to log in to review confidential elements and documentation.
There are digital copies of the Schools publication, ‘The Adderley Voice’ so that parents can read about their child’s achievements at school and the valuable contributions they are making. Also ‘House’ areas, updated regularly by the school showing the latest house point scores and what is coming up over the coming weeks. The site structure was kept as simple as possible as there is a lot of information to be contained within the site. Also hosting had to be scalable with growth for the site in mind over coming years.
